I Remember the Voices

My drawings are an open repertory of metamorphoses of basic living figures of anthropomorphic animals, but rarely of objects. I am always trying to complete and to perfect my own alphabet and personal grammar, a completely open system that does not resemble any other code. I suppose this has been generated through my observation of reality and other daily experiences stored afterwards in the layers of the subconscious before appearing again in the pulsation of ink on paper and the gesture of the hand. The drawings are small and delicate, so they can be very intense. Their significance lies in my desire that the observer will grasp their intensity.
